Dear fellow Jabinians,

Even since its inception in 1957, your college i.e. P.C. Jabin Science College has been in the forefront of Science Education in the North Karnataka region. Being the pioneer single Science faculty college, it has always strived and retained its place as a premier science institution. It is truly said that P. C. Jabin Science College is the “Cambridge” of Karnataka.

Alma Mater literally means the Foster Mother. Flesh and blood are the gift of your natural parents. True. But the kidding of scientific spirit, the laying of the foundation of good character and the urge for reaching out towards excellence in the chosen career, your brain and your intellect are the valuable inputs of your Alma Mater. Just as the seed in sown, watered, nourished and looked after and then the hasty seedling is later transplanted in the fields, so also P. C. Jabin Science College has been the cradle bed of many professionally successful careers as Physician & Surgeons, Engineers and Architects, Scientists and scalars, Teachers and Executives. P. C. Jabin Science College is proud of all its past students, just as you all are proud of your association with this institution.

The Alumni Association of P. C. Jabin Science College was founded in the year 1983 and since then has been doing tremendous job of recognizing merit among the younger Jabinians and awarding cash prizes every year. Such encouragement has often acted as a stimulus for greater effort.

The time has now come for the Alumni to do something more for their Alma Mater. In these days of resource crushes and continually dwindling flow of grants from the governments and the UGC, the college is forced to reach out wards to its own Alumni to keep pace and to forge ahead as the premier Science College.

The college has well developed. Seminar hall been built by Alumni Association for organizing special lectures, seminars and workshops.

We, the President and members of executive committee, the Secretary, the Jt. Secretary and the Treasurer of the Alumni Association and we, the Principal and the past and present members of staff of P. C. Jabin Science College are appealing to you and join hands with us in making the association by membership drive.

We once again appeal to all Jabinians to come forward to register the names and build a strong network along with your friends. We anticipate positive response from your side.
